The Kelly Family has been in the home heating industry for more than 80 years. John J. Kelly and Julius Singer started Singer-Kelly Coal Corporation in 1928, in Rockaway Beach, New York. Mr. Kelly's son John M. Kelly, better known as Jack, joined the company in 1947 and started as a truck driver and serviceman. Mr. Jack Kelly would later establish Kelly Oil Company Incorporated, in 1961. After the passing of Jack Kelly in 1975, his wife Patricia and their three sons, Jack, Richie and Jim have continued the family business to this day. Since then, Kelly Oil Company has strived as one of the leading providers of home heating oil on Long Island. As a third generation family in the fuel oil industry, the Kelly Family knows what it takes to keep their customers warm.
"The building of a reputation and the giving of a dollar's worth of merchandise and service for every dollar spent is necessary for the success of any business."
